This place is advertised as Davids Brawny Burgers and Fried Chicken.... I was really surprised to find out that they don't serve fried chicken.... This is a very difficult place to review. The food is greasy and sloppy.....but it is delicious... The service is....hard to describe.... it isn't "bad" I guess..... the girls take the orders correctly and I have never had to wait very long....they are just not very friendly. They don't smile and they treat me like an imposition.... It makes me think of Randall from clerks when he said "This job would be great if it wasn't for the fu****g customers." The thing is, that there is something about the place that sorta makes all of that ok. It is so cliche that it almost comes off as charming. I remember going to a place called "Dicks Last Resort" out in Denver Colorado, which was famous for having out-of-work actors and actresses playing the role of waiters and waitresses that were intentionally and out rightly rude..... it was a gimmick and it is advertised that way...and it worked.... I always had a good time there... I always get the feeling that the staff here are not actually restaurant staff.... they are just pretending to be.... I dunno.... it is hard to describe the charm of this place..... but , I like it.

"The sign has been up for 35 years" - the response I got when asking about fried chicken. The sign says, "David's Brawny Burgers and Fried Chicken". Well, we ordered a "Brawny" burger and the Reuben. The "Brawny" burger was a standard 1/4 burger patty probably bought frozen from the market. Nothing to write home about at all, barely above fast food, such as one might find at McDonalds. As for the Reuben, the meat as tough, and the rye bread nothing exceptional. And, of course there was no fried check available. My advice is to change the sign if you are unwilling to honor the value proposition promised by it. Also, the sign looked shiney new, not at all 35 years old.

Use to be very good but now the meat is cheap and unflavorful. Fried foods make the family have digestive issues. Maybe old oil?

It's a Klamath Falls staple. One of the restaurants that you see, eat at, and enjoy during your time growing up here. That being said. It's probably the nostalgia, but they do make some tasty food. I don't really understand how it works, but I can promise that a steady stream of dopamine is released upon consuming the extremely magical fry sauce. Whether it's crystal meth or crack cocaine, I'm almost positive that there are illegal drugs in it because it is beyond amazing. That being said, the reason for 4 stars is because the tables are never really clean, the staff seems a little overworked and tired, and it does take a long time to get the food. Overall it is a definitely a solid choice to eat at, and you really cannot go wrong. Especially in Klamath Falls.

My fiance had had a "man-date" with a friend of his a while ago and they had stopped here. Since he reported that it was pretty good, I was willing to give it a go. I was not terribly impressed. It's not that any one thing was terrible, it's just that the whole thing was underwhelming. I said as much to my fiance, but he still insisted that it was really good - all while munching away at his burger. So, I guess it all depends on your taste. Fiance loves the place, me not so much. Meh.

Very over rated burger joint. If you want to try a really good burger, try Dagwoods or Back 40 cafe.

Great burger place with a large selection of shakes and sandwiches. I hope this place stays the same and is always around for future generations to enjoy.

Nothing special but nice to try if you are over McDonald's. Wendy's is about the same price and the food is probably about the same. So if you are looking outside of he fast food box this place will do.

Decent local burger place. Prices have changed since some of the other reviewers, but still very reasonable. I enjoyed the double bacon brawny burger with grilled onions, tomatoes and lettuce. Splurged for the fried zucchini ...thick deep fried spears...pretty right on in my book. The crinkle cut fries need work. Poorly seasoned or fried in the wrong fat, these should have been delicious and frankly if it wasn't for the great fry sauce, they wouldn't have been worth eating. 4 stars for a great burger joint. Get the fries right and I'd lay down another star :-)

I have never been here so I thought I would give it a shot. I was very disappointed with their staff. I went in and the girl at the front, she had multiple peircings to describe her. She didn't smile, was abrasive, didn't say thank you or to have a nice day. People not having common courtesy is the most annoying and off putting thing you can do when it comes to service for me. This first interaction was really bad and caused me not to enjoy the food. Please teach your staff some common courtesy... it will go a long way.

While working up in Klamath Falls, I went out to eat every day for lunch. I heard about David's restaurant by word of mouth. I was very surprised at how busy this place is. After I ordered my first burger, I knew why. I must have gone to this place over 30 times, tried a few things off the menu and was very satisfied every time. The fry sauce is extremely good as are their Brawny burgers. The staff was always very friendly and the place is always clean. I cant wait to visit Klamath falls again to eat another burger!!!

I got the double bacon brawny burger with grilled onions $6.15 32 oz White Russian Milk Shake $4.95 Deep Fried Mushrooms $3.20 The double patty bacon brawny burger was massive, it held a lot of juicy flavor. They put a lot of veges on it and grilled onions it was extremely delicious. 5 stars I had ordered deep fried mushrooms to go with my burger, I was not impressed they didn't look as if they had any breading, and just lacked in flavor. 2 1/2 stars Now I love a good milkshake and when I read reviews on their milkshakes I had to have one, I ordered a 32 oz white russian milkshake (no booze) and when I took my first sip, it was like I was transported to heaven it was extremely good between the thickness, the flavor it was superb. 5 stars The staff was nice, but the restraunt didn't look as if it had comfortable seating for the bigger crowd. 4 stars I would eat here again, I do recommend eating here my overall score is 4 stars just because of seating and the mushrooms :-)

With C&D burger in town, I don't know why you wouldn't go there instead. I have been here 5-6 times. Really trying to give them a chance. Burgers are ok and so are the fries. Nothing special really. Like i said i would go somewhere else, even a Burger King or McDonalds. It just isn't really worth it. Wish it was.

I was traveling by car, a long trip and there it was: DAVID'S That's my son's name! Clean, friendly, don't let the sort of beat up neighborhood worry you. Inexpensive, fresh, TIP: order your brawny burger sauce on the side and dip your fries in it! You can order a small sized shake. I had one called a White Russian (no clue what's in it) and it was creamy, delicious and mysterious. They close at 7:00 on Saturday- I just barely made it. Great stop whether you live here or are far from home. Fours stars only because they close a little early.

HOLY SMOKES! TALK ABOUT A GREAT DEAL! Not only is the food delicious but it is mind boggling cheap! A full sized home cooked burger for $1.40? ! A decent sized tuna melt for $3.00? Notice how I am not using any periods? It is just that good! I think one of the most expensive things on the menu is the milkshake and let me tell you it is well worth the price! Just saying if you have never been to David's Brawny Burger then you are missing out! If you come midday however might have to wait for a table because, unsurprisingly, it is almost always packed.

Good food and amazing chocolate milk shakes. I think he gets all his food at cash 'n carry and cooks it at his restaurant. It is really good but some of the prices are pretty expensive. I can go in and get two corn dogs and a large fry and $5 or my husband and I go in and order a bacon cheeseburger, two corn dogs, two chili cheese fries, a small and a large chocolate shake and pay $25... yikes but still very good.

Great burgers and shakes at good prices. Local all the way. Sadly they still use frozen crinkle cut fries, but the fry sauce is delish.

Milkshakes are handmade with ice cream and real fruits/ingredients. This place is by far superior to all the chain fast food joints all over Klamath Falls. Go here and enjoy a local burger joint with friendly staff and yummy food. You must get a shake, too!! So good!

The atmosphere is straight burger joint. Their burgers, however, are excellent. Far superior to any fast food chain.

Just had their Brawny Burger, no cheese, grilled onions with fries. The burger is better than fast food but there was just nothing real special about it. I guess the thick cut tomato was better than most non-fast food (fast food tomatoes are of course, junk). One other good thing is that they provide fry sauce. I thought that was just a Utah thing but good to know you can get it here too. The fries were just average though. The crinkle cut kind.

I love Brawny Burger. Its exactly what you expect from a local mom-and-pop burger joint. The special "secret sauce" is so simple yet tasty. It is heaps better than eating Mc'Donalds. The milkshakes are really good as well.

So much better than ANY of the fastfood chains. Had the bacon brawny burger (quite tasty), chocolate shake (like home-made), and any joint that has fried mushrooms as a side is OK with me!
